9-15-18 – 43rd Edgar Rohr Meet – Thanks to all the Participants who attended the 43rdEdgar RohrShow on Saturday!! The weather cooperated and we had over 90 cars despite the predictions of intermittent rain. Several attendees thanked us and commented they were thrilled to finally make to a show given all the bad weather this summer. I’d like to give some special thanks to the following persons/groups who helped make the show a success: The City of Manassas and the Manassas Museum, esp. Doug Horhota, who patience and support helped overcome several obstacles; our outstanding Emcee Chris Overcash, Butch Yowell for bringing his Hit and Miss Engines, and the 29 Diner for providing some great BBQ. Also a special thanks to Wally Skaja, the Boy Scout Troop 670 and Venture Crew 670. Their help with the Color Guard, parking and assisting with various events the day of the show were invaluable. We always appreciate the attendance and support of the Greater Manassas Volunteer Rescue Squad, the Manassas Police Department, the Manassas Fire and Rescue Department, and the Manassas Volunteer Fire Department who provide their vehicles, expertise and personnel to the show. Last, I’d like to thank the members of the AACA Bull Run Region for their hard work, flexibility and good humor in spite of changing circumstances to put on a great show. Thanks to all and see you next year!
