1955 Studebaker Speedster "President". Helped my dad restore this car from pretty much nothing. I was told along time ago, "if has a shadow it can be restored", this is totally true as this car started out pretty rough. Colors on the car are Chasta White, Pimlico Grey and Coraltone. It's a pretty car and a lot of fun to take to shows. It has also has it's AACA Grand National. My favorite comment at the car shows? The pink was isn't an original color, actually it is. Chip and Nancy Rohr's 1912 Buick Model 36 roadster. Chips father,Edgar Rohr, founding member of Bull Run Region and past AACA President, purchased the car in 1941 off a farm in Pennsylvania. Restored in the 40's, the Buick was displayed in the Rohr Museum in Manassas. Mr. and Mrs. Rohr drove the Buick on 23 Glidden Tours over the years including a round trip to the Glidden tour in Canada in 1960. Chip and Nancy have kept up the tradition participating in two Glidden tours, several AACA Reliability tours and many other local events. It can frequently be seen at the Bull Run annual Rohr Memorial car show and other Bull Run Region events. The car and the Rohr's love of driving it is the inspiration for the AACA National "Edgar E.Rohr Memorial Award" for per 1920 Buicks driven over 500 miles since restoration.
This is an unrestored "survivor" and I am the original owner. The full article about the car can be seen on Vern Parker's website dated 8//16/2011. Article Link
